Doesn’t matter if you work at amazon or Microsoft. What matters is the team you are on (especially for big companies like Ms/amzn/fb/g).. as a person who keeps jumping ship every few years (just for the fun of it) I think branding a company as “stressful” doesn’t make any sense
Stress/Wlb is a function of the team first and the company second. In Azure for example, I've seen a dozen people who came from Amazon, felt that the WLB was shittier here and went back to Amazon. In Bing and VS, it's the other way round. Chilled out work and WLB. In general though, Amazon is said to have a higher work load on average as per industry standards.
