I'm currently on F1 and my H1 has been approved. I'm traveling to India so I was planning to apply for Global Entry since it requires interview at passport office in India. Is there any risk involved since I'll be also getting stamp for H1? Has anyone done this before? From Global Entry site: All Indian Global Entry members must have a valid passport and a valid visa. Global Entry members who are not U.S. citizens or U.S. lawful permanent residents must maintain updated visa information with CBP. If a Global Entry member obtains a new visa, or obtains a new petition for a work visa, the member must notify CBP in-person at a Global Entry enrollment center. As per our the rules 😂 TC: 150k YoE: 2
Just got my global entry approved
Yep I did this. You have to schedule it well since it takes time for H1B stamping + finishing Global Entry process. I was in India close to 4 weeks and had Visa appointment 2 days after I landed.
I got it on my f1 visa
SAP: Yeah that's what I'm planning.. I have 4 weeks in December-January and have visa interview scheduled the day I land so planning to do Global entry in later weeks.
If you are who I think you are, what's the worst that could happen? Just WFIndia a bit longer since you're indispensable to your team 🤣

Does it not require GC?
nope
That was my understanding as well. Maybe they’ve stopped requiring it
