So I currently work for a low paying "startup" that has more than 3 ongoing projects none of which has raised money so far... besides writing code, we have to reply mails from "partners"/clients and handle calls/social media marketing. Also, it's unacceptable to not reply mails during the weekend. Sometimes, I feel like a slave. I wish I could just quit! We also have these ridiculously long meetings!! TC: less than $4k

I don’t know what your living situation is. But if you can, you should quit and look for other jobs. As a fellow Nigerian, I understand how hard things are. Maybe try applying for remote jobs outside the country
From what you are saying working at a startup that’s doing projects is basically valued at nothing. Startups are generally valued either for products or markets or users. All your startup is right now is basically you and a couple of other folks. So if you guys go there is nothing behind that can generate revenue.
Sounds like the company has no leadership and sense of direction. It is not unusual for startups to change course to find market fit but 3 projects indicates the founders have no clue.
So why don't you quit. With that kind of tc, you can work in just about any job, tech or otherwise, and earn more. It also doesn't seem you believe in the company so equity isn't a good reason either.
Right?! It's ridiculous!!! I need to look in the mirror
