Hi Everyone, I am in a tough situation since the past week and was unable to find my way out. As always decided to reach out to this annonymous yet effective community. I am on my H1B and since the past one year have been applying for T/PgM jobs. I was able to get few interview calls and also had onsites at FB,Visa, Akamai, etc. Though I spent sleepless nights and gave 100% of my efforts I wasn’t successful in getting any offer. Each rejection comes as a massive blow and I am losing my confidence. I tried seeking feedback by approaching the HMs but everyone told I did great and it was a tough decision. Honestly with no constructive feedback I am disappointed and couldnt decide if I should give up looking for PgM jobs and instead look for technical jobs such as Software Engineers, automation jobs, etc. Its hard to give up but even harder to hold on and keep facing rejections. Am i into the wrong direction? Is it really hard to get PgM jobs on H1b? Lots of such questions for which I am struggling to find answers. Thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated.
Dafuq! Google is not a terrible place to be.
I have learned that I lose nothing by trying more. Knock all doors you can, you don’t know which one opens for you. Ask for referrals and get interviews lined up everywhere you can snd have fun. You’ll make it.
I am not full time. A contractor at Google and I don’t see any possibilities of a full time.
Still not a bad place yo!
DM me for a referral.

Be committed but not attached. Don't take it personally. Keep plugging,
Your taking rejections hard. The only way to get a job is to cast a wide net. You have to be ok with rejection to look for jobs. My win rate after applying for the past 6 months is 1/36. It’s a funnel. Most of these applications will be rejections, no matter how great a person you are. It has no bearing on you personally. Anyone you look up to has gone through the same thing. All your hero’s. All your heroine’s. Same funnel of rejection.
That’s truth 👆🏾
There are interview practicing websites though I don't know if they have pgm related ones. Just Google it and find someone to practice with, they will give feedback and it helps!
