Is it worth it to move to FANG from Cisco and loose your queue in Eb1C

I still have 3 more years of a wait, considering the snail-paced movement of the Eb1c priority date queue. Feels like I have already ruined my career enough in the last three years with cisco. #Eb1-c #gc

What is common sense to somebody is stupidity to another. It is about your career and immigration situation. I think you are the only informed person to make a decision that is in your best interest.

Green card is more important. Given you are from India at least EB1 will ensure that you get GC in 3 years. You can go to fang after you get your GC.

I left Cisco, back in 2012 because of low payment and restart my H1b, I was not even in GC queue...but I would prioritize my Visa always...

Is a great company to learn, and back then a lot of great industry experts

Visa comes first! Imagine leaving to FANG and then getting PIPed and then having to scramble for something! What a nightmare, but it DOES happen if you search the h1 threads here. Cisco is a great company to learn and grow and they DO pay well! (Don't be do greedy--Blind is toxic in this way!) So just bide your time getting yourself in championship form for the day when you leave as a GC holder!

Agree blind is toxic

Don't count on 3 years. With massive porting into EB1C, EB1 may stop moving or even retrogress.
