I got a verbal offer from my hiring manager a few days back. HR is working out the numbers now. Hoping for L62 since the interviews went really well.
Is it possible for me to negotiate a permanent WFH?
I currently live in a different state and I might have to relocate to Bangalore if I accept the offer. Bangalore's traffic and HCOL are what really puts me off.

But as others have pointed out, you will have to factor in your team's collaboration style while making the decision. I have seen engineering teams that are perfectly fine with 100% WFH, teams that easily accomodate 100% WFH, and teams that need you to come physically few days per week unless you have a non-trivial reason to opt 100% WFH.
Discuss with your HM. I think you should be fine and should be able to go for 100% WFH. Just ensure you make a good case for your choice.
