For SWEs, the recipe is simple. Leetcode hard as much as you can to get a job. Is there an equivalent of that in other career paths, such as hardware engineering, product management, accounting, UX design etc?

I said standing outside. Those are tradesmen for hire.
Haha just out of curiosity. My personal bet is that this leetcode way of interviewing will get much less popular by big companies soon.
In addition to the other comments, ASE Master Certified mechanics have to pass an exam every 5 years
More importantly, is leetcode causing a faster rate of increase in supply while demand is growing at a steady (or relatively slower) pace? If so, wouldn't that change the nature of recruiting in coming years

HWE here. 430k TC, 17 yoe. The recipe for HWE is equally simple. Design patterns are prevalent in HWE just like SWE and we hire people that have mastered them. Our equivalent for leetcode is being able to do any problem in our sophomore level electromagnetics and circuits textbooks. The other relevant book is Art of Electronics. For any other field it’s equally simple. Determine what the design patterns are for your field and make sure you have them down cold.
Can you make +10 YOE HWEs prepare for vector calculus? If so, I respect the field.
This is the first time I've ever seen someone talk about HWE equivalent of leetcode. I was always curious even when I was in college so I appreciate this. I'm a SWE now but found this interesting!
