After reading blind, there would be few who won't be interviewing. While not everyone will get those really high paying jobs, but this is great eye opener that they exist.
Just wondering what it means to you specifically. Yes I see people making 400-500k on here. But I’m honestly happy with my 380k. That’s more than I ever thought I’d make in my life.
Was in the 250 range, which was plenty, but moving soon to 330 range. At some level it wasn't about the money itself, but what I means for how much the company values you.
Nothings going to change for me at the personal level, but because of blind I looked around a lot more, and found a much smaller company, with more scope for impact and responsibility. The extra money is gravy on top.
Some stories from blinders also help you keep pushing and trying. What I found was that it's wasn't just me but a vast number of people struggle with interviews and the quirkiness of the whole process.
Eh... the right comparison is to the rest of big tech employers and the difference is substantial. Anywhere from 30%-150% depending on level from what’s posted on Blind.
