Why wouldn't it be real? Some people just have the aptitude and sail through without any grinding. Some people have no aptitude and cannot sail through no matter how much they grind. LC grinding only bears fruit for the ones in between.

Probably wasn’t born smart enough. You can’t get in google with hard work (leetcode) alone (eg if your IQ is 80).
Probably reads too much Blind. It’s more than Leetcode, it’s also not saying stupid things, your attitude, and communication skills. And design problems too.
But it starts with leetcode.
All good things start with Leetcode.
