I've read this. https://paloaltoonline.com/news/2020/02/14/vmware-plans-to-cut-over-200-jobs-in-palo-alto Been in to similar situation, and I know how shitty it feels like. Shoot me a message if you want referral in Cisco, Duo BU My Business Unit mostly deals with Networking / Web-systems related things, and I will be able to help. You can also do 100% remote if you don't like relocating. I can also refer you to positions in Cisco as well. Wish you the best, and hope you find the best out of this mess.
Somebody posted with Cisco layoff. You could help internally
Commented on his. Will get to him soonish
Awesome!
Isn’t Cisco itself in a lay-off mode ?
Cisco as a whole yeah but each BU are pretty independent (ex meraki AppD etc) so some of them are looking for ppl like crazy
Thanks a lot. Can you also expand on roles and profile Cisco hires & what’s the timeline approx at interview to offer
Literally every positions. Cisco is reallly huge. But most of our portfolio focuses around networking/security. Typically recruiter will reach out p soon but it depends on team for how fast they proceed
Hi #cisco folks, I found a role that is absolutely aligned with my experience. Will anyone from Cisco be kind enough to refer me? Here is the position: https://jobs.cisco.com/jobs/ProjectDetail/Senior-Product-Line-Manager-SaaS/1288365?source=LinkedIn #ciscocareers
