Hello, Got offer from TRC for SDE2. Total compensation is 60L = 38L + 8L JB + 14L bonus. Some good benefits also 3 YOE Also SDE2 offwr from amazon of 46L - not taking for obvious reasons. People from tower research, please help with some tips etc. have heard things have stabilized and much better like before. Work seems very interesting. Not sure 10L is worth the hassle and pip scare. Plus bonus can be greater next year onwards

Op, TRC has bad wlb and 3 months notice period (not sure if this still exists). So consider this before you join TRC.
I feel all the banking companies have very limited to offer to tech unless you maybe are a quant , TRC is definitely a fast paced place but the problem statement they are solving has very limited application in the tech industry. And judging from comments you already hate the idea of joining amazon, so go for it. But at later stages growth in these HFTs is low assuming that you are not joining as an algo trader there which is only given to top students of top iits cause that is their core business and other components of firm will be considered more as a cost center, anyhow the offer is solid and u can see if it works for you.
Makes sense. The team here seems more around analytics and such not so much on actual HFT related work which is why it interested me. Maybe can join for 1-2 years take the comp bump and go

Take Tower Research over Amazon anyday. Tower usually has fairly small teams for fairly large projects, so you have more expertise to gain in the stuff that you work on. WLB is fairly team dependent. I see that you know someone from Tower already, not sure if my comment add any value. His work-life should be a good proxy for how the firm is operating nowadays.
