There was a post earlier this month with really shi**y selection (no offense to the thread poster).

So here's a remake. Since Blind limits to only 20, some univerisities had to be grouped. I grouped them based on prestige, geolocation, size, and popularity. Post none in comment section if you did not attend at all.

Your list still isn’t very good if the top choice is Other

Dude, you're sounding stupider with each post. You only have 20 options, and I am obviously more interested in the top schools and some of the more popular state schools in tech. If a huge percentage gets clumped into second tier, then I know most people didn't attend top-tier schools, and that's insightful to me.

If someone made a binary poll, as in Yes/No, and 90% chose 'yes', that doesn't mean the options are bad. You're confusing sampling bias with bad poll options.

It’s a worthless biased survey, but typical for Blind unfortunately.

Learn and get a passion for a platform or technology. Start off entry level at startups, where you refine your skills more and learn. On the side practice interview and leetcode type skills, and over time you'll have experience and the interview skills to apply for FAANG jobs and land them.
