How much is avg bonus for associate (SWE) at chase ? Recruiter says it’s 20% of base. True?

It depends on your rating. If you’re a “Meets expectation” which is the average rating, it’s about 10%, if you’re rated higher than that you can get up to 20%

By the way never trust what a recruiter tells you Unless it’s in writing. Most of them are scumbags and trying to fill requisitions so they can hang onto their jobs and get their mediocre bonuses

Bonus is never garanteed.
That should be in your contract. If not expect Avg is 12 - 15 per cent. 20% for a strong rating.
They don’t put on letter, contract is pretty standard for everyone only role,compensation (fixed) joining date is changed.
