I have an offer in London for: Twitter SWE II: Base £80k, bonus 15%, approx £40k RSU per year JPMorgan VP: Base £140k, bonus supposedly £90k+ (although not guaranteed) Both are for client engineer roles (Android). Which one do you think is better long term for career growth and comp? I currently have 6 years experience.
Bank. All based on TC
I'd take jpm. Their Android dev will be more interesting than Twitter.
Really don’t think chase can compete with twitter in terms of tech
I used Chase Android apps all the time. They are great. Not a Twitter user. But given the small feature set of the Twitter app, I imagine only the elite devs get to work on the actual front end.
Twitter is better for tech and career but I guess jp tc is too good to pass
JP hands down. One of the largest and most innovative banks in the world.
Lolz
I get my news from Bloomberg
Anyone else in London think this JPM offer could be legit?
I thought max was 125 for a VP
And bonus is way too high
How many VP does JP have?
At least Senior has a bar to meet. My teller at the bank today was a fucking VP. It's a joke.
What was your Twitter onsite interview like?
