Will be starting a job soon with Microsoft in Redmond. I am looking to stay in Seattle and commute to Redmond.
can anyone tell me,
- What are some of the areas in Seattle to live in?
- I know Microsoft offers shuttle services, can anyone from Microsoft tell me what locations in Seattle does the shuttle pickup and drops off at?
- Advantages and Disadvantage of living in Seattle as opposed to living in Redmond?
- Advantanges and Disadvantage of living in Redmond as opposed to living in Seattle?
- Also, how are you doing your apartment search if you are starting a new job in Seattle amid COVID-19?
If any of you working at Microsoft stay in Seattle, can you share your experience

It's simple...
Move to Redmond if you:
1/ have a family and/or
2/ want to engage with an Asian community.
Move to Seattle:
1/ if you are single and/or
2/ enjoy cheap uber rides to bars and restaurants
Seattle is more lively and a lot of restaurants and etc.
I would live in Redmond though just to avoid commute.
