Jane Street onsite for experienced swe
I know there are a couple entries on Jane Street’s blog re swe interviews but they are a bit dated. Has anyone had any recent experience with swe onsite at JSC? For example, any archiecture / design specific questions? or more data structure and algorithm question? or any brain teasers? Any input would be appreciated.
No design since you don’t do real software engineering there. The job is a joke. Great way to become irrelevant, but you’ll be paid well at least. And then on your resume you won’t be able to list a single thing you did 1) because they don’t let you disclose details 2) because everything that you’ll do can be done by a 1 year out of college code 🐒
According to my friends the pay is good enough you can hit FIRE pretty quick. I hate writing code anyways...

Even for swe’s with 6 yoe, would jsc focus mostly on DS and algos?
