I'm joining a new company within a couple of months, looking forward to hit the ground running, although I never used AWS (used to work for Azure) and my experience in Java is ok. So looking for a list of readings, courses to get up to speed with this stack. So if you use this tech stack day in day out, what are the top subjects you have to know. For example I am ramping up on SpringBoot, I would love to know things similar.
I’ve never used AWS but I do code in Java. The books that have helped me the most are Core Java, Effective Java, and Java Concurrency in Practice. Being familiar with profilers such as YourKit/VisualVM will be helpful too.
Thanks, I read Effective Java 2nd Edition before, great book, I need to refresh though. The tools are super helpful 👍🏼
