Yoe 1 year Tc 90k I have done my ms in analytics and has decent understanding of python for data analysis. But i am considering moving to swe path and currently working on java/oops concepts. For backend roles in java world i need to learn spring boot But I am reading a lot of negativity that it is dying and taken over by python/js/go specific stacks. Is it still worth learning and finding a career in?
Java is verbose and one should definitely learn the language before jumping onto the slacks like python etc.
With lombok and mapstruct and some spring modules api building in Java feels much easier and faster
Yes! What is lacks though is the availability of AI moduels wherein python is a clear winner if you just want to get started with something
Dying? Good joke. Next.
I like Node, Hali, Mongo better. But lots of Java still around
did you find a good resource for learning it?
Spring in action? And maybe their own guides or docs. That's the fastest way to learn.
@PcNe34 Do you find it useful like is learning nodejs better than spring?
I am doing backend engineer nanodegree from udacity where spring and grpahQL make up key course components. So far, its been great
