Anyone have any tips or have insight into the overall interview process at Databricks? Didn’t seem to find anything on Blind for non-SWE roles.

I was reached out to by the manager directly opposed to a recruiter. Is that the norm at Databricks or are they potentially just looking to hire someone ASAP? Any context would be appreciated!

  • Pretty common for hiring managers to source. Still startupy culture. Program management as a function is nascent so lots of opportunity for growth. Interview process is long and can be a pain - they are very conservative on hiring to tech roles. Despite desperately needing people.

Thanks for this! Do you have additional insight or tips on the interview process itself? What sort of technical questions should I expect?
