Going onsite soon, and wanted to know if there’s any tips. Ofc beyond the conventional aspects of interviews (code correctness, oration, etc), i wanted to know if there’s something else to be mindful of (like LPs for Amazon)
If you have any other choice, do NOT come to jet, period. Clueless leadership spent 2 years after acquisition but still failed to deliver any working business model. GMV is plummeting over 60%. And you will use F#, or u have to work on walmart stuff.
Was interviewing here to serve as a counter offer for my other interviews. But gradually got tempted because it seemed like a good place. Is this the general sentiment internally?
Jet is merging into WalmartLab. People are leaving. Two VP left the firm in past month.
Its awful
Which VP left ? None from engg.
Don’t join Jet. Everyone is trying to leave and is unhappy.
Jet is not a good place any more.
Update : got a very solid offer. I rejected it.
I hope you didn't reject because of above comments and you hopefully had a better part from somewhere else
Jet is not a cult yo
How would you rate the difficulty of the interviews themselves? Jet seems like a really cool shop with interesting work.
Depends on the interviewer. I use LC medium stuff with follow ups, some people go with trapping rain water and skyline type of stuff. But that’s rare. When I was a candidate, it was 3 mediums and 1 system design.
