I recently got an offer from OCI India, for a new team being set up in BLR.
Would appreciate it if anybody has reviews on OCI, how is the work, culture, and most importantly is it good to join.
I had a very easy interview process, thus a little skeptical.

Offered TC: 43L + 4L JB(8L/2 for 2 years) + 14L stocks/year

Money wise, hell yes.
OCI is definitely a much much better place to be at, compared to the rest of oracle. And arguably better than Amazon in some regards, like wlb, not a lot of pip culture, etc.
Talk to the HM if you are not sold on the role or the company.
Now good part. WLB is pretty decent. You can continue LC. If you get a good manager you can work from home.
Good pay, lots of new things to learn, you will get good insights about the cloud.
Team as well as org culture is pretty good. Very supportive managers. Don’t expect any bonus or hikes though unless you get promoted, but you are getting a great pay to start with and Oracle stock has been doing good lately, and I would say its one of the only few tech stocks which is undervalued so it might have a good upside.
I can’t argue about the company’s future but the management looks promising and I get to work with some really smart engineers.
Cloud involves a mix of development as well as operations work, some think of it as a plus as you get to expand your knowledge in that domain as well, whereas some think of it negatively who only want to do coding using for loops and if/else statements.
If I was you, I would join, stay for an year or couple maybe and gauge if you like it or not. Once you have the JB in your pocket you are free to move on if you are not happy.
P.S. I am in US, but I assume the culture should be similar in India as a lot of my colleagues here are Indians, as is the case with most of the tech companies.
