I have seen a job on LinkedIn (posted for Google), click apply, and it redirects me to the correct Google careers page. The next day the job is no longer accepting applications on LinkedIn but the job is still on Googles career page. How do I know if the role is available? If this happens does it mean they filled the role internally? I’ve applied and the next day see the job vanish hence I ask. Wondering if they are CV collecting for data vs there actually being a job?
Almost definitely CV farming or fishing for more applicants. They will likely re-post again on LinkedIn every week or so over the life of the posting.
Yeah. I have noticed this. They pause for a few weeks then repost. Seems weird especially if you got referred etc.

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
LinkedIn isn’t an authoritative source, go with the careers page.
Thanks! Will apply then!
