Job Title: Software Applications Engineer Location: San Diego, CA Duration:- 12 Months Job Overview • The position is a customer engineering role for our automotive business in San Diego. The person will support customers to integrate our BT/WLAN products into their platforms and support the design phase to the mass production. Support customers to solve any issues found on all layers including WLAN SoC chip firmware, driver, protocol stack, OS framework and applications. - Provide trainings to customers, review customer design and give advice on implementation. -Analyze and report issue to developer team and help the team to narrow down the root cause and fix the issue for customer. Excellent communication skills needed. Minimum Qualification • BS EE required Wireless communication technical knowledge - WLAN 11n, 11ac/11ad - Driver development experience on Linux, Android or QNX, - C/C++ - Bluetooth development and protocol experience is a plus - System integration, throughput, RF tuning on Linux/Android - Effective communication, interpersonal and documentation skills - Preferred Qualification • Ability to proactively manage customer expectations to influence customer relations and design Decisions. Education • BS EE required or MS EE of Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
