Joining FB is end of the life?

I feel I am quite incapable
Also the company culture looks terrible
WLB is fine, but the fear of being fired continues to increase.

really regretted leaving Google for Facebook. Is there some way to get this fixed?

Seems like you need to join Amazon to strengthen your mental endurance. Every other company would be a piece of cake afterwards

Some say it's a right of passage. Same way working in food service makes you a more conscientious customer down the road.

  • Idk I left my last company where I could never work and collect 100K a year, but I felt constantly like my brain was melting from how much no one cared. It helped me realize why real retirement can actually be bad for people who don't plan it.

Anyways I quit and joined FB for 270K TC as IC4, and while I am still new and understand that I signed up to work for real, I also know that at the end of the day if I don't like it I know how to chill. Like if the work gets too much and I hate it then who cares it will take forever to get fired and my TC is way more than enough to live on lol. WLB is up to you to take, and if you're overworking and suffering then speak up or make plans to leave. Always have a plan to leave when you join somewhere, and don't attach yourself emotionally to your work. At the end of the day we're all rats in the rat race so do what you need to do and save and spend as much time as you can for your real life IMO.

Dude just chill . Even if you get fired it’s no big deal . You will fail upwards as you will have Facebook on your resume .
