I came from Amazon and do not regret it one bit. Twitter cares about its employees almost to a fault. When I was at Amazon a person in my org died and our L8 either didn't know or didn't care enough to mention it at an all hands. Night and day difference.
Twitter takes inclusion and diversity incredibly seriously. It is core to the company's culture. It's been a bit of an adjustment for me personally to be mindful of always using inclusive language (e.g. say folks instead of guys, etc) but it's no big deal. People are a bit more open about their political leanings than other companies I've worked at, but nothing major. No one cares about Trump. The only time I hear about Trump is when people on Blind who don't work here talk about how much it matters. ๐
