Joining amazon with 2 Months OPT left
I am an international student working on OPT. received amazon offer but not sure if they would like the fact that my OPT expires in mid april. If H1B doesnt get picked, will Amazon help me in relocating to Canada? Will they rescind the offer because they might have to move me to canada after 2 months?
If you had strong experience they can even give you O1. If you are new grad then I have not been updated for a while
Prior experience but new MBA grad. I dont think I will be eligible for O1, need national/international acclaimed skills.
Amazon will transfer you to other locations in worst case. Don’t panic.
I hope so, but what if they rescind the offer because by the time i will join i will have just one month opt left, if transfer is HM's headache, what if he denies offer at first place? Or is it handled by recruiter?
It’s not headache for Manager, Amazon. That’s why we hire immigration attorneys, You can always find teams in different Amazon locations. They gave you offer, so everything should be good.

Nope, havent discussed the options yet, first wanted to understand what is the policy and can Amazon rescind the offer. I am hoping to join mid march, and i will be left with OPT validity of 1 month.
But the pre-registration for this year H-1B should be submitted by March 1st
