I'm currently in talks with FB, Goog, Uber, AirBnb, Cruise Automation, Amzn, and a couple startups. At this point in my career I want to optimize for upward mobility, truly interesting work, and of course TC. I was previously at Goog and of course the perks / TC was nice, but the projects weren't really world shattering and I didn't like the whole "Be Googley" cult mentality. I'm a normal SWE 10YOE but I have a pretty decent math background, but not rigorous enough to make it to the hedges unfortunately. I'd like to work on something that interfaces with the real world vs. say Cloud infrastructure. (I used to work on Maps). Where should be on my radar? Uber, Cruise, and Airbnb are the ones I'm most interested in at the moment.
+ Square, Stripe, Coinbase, Robinhood if you're interested in fintech
I feel like everything including customer facing products interface with cloud nowadays especially at big tech companies...

ByteDance is officially fucked
Can't go wrong with any of those (despite Amazon getting memed to death by 🍌 on here), although I haven't heard great things about Cruise recently.
What's wrong with Cruise? Product isn't living up to hype?
