Have a virtual onsite at Juniper Square for backend position this week. If anyone has been to their onsite recently can you kindly share your experience. According to recruiter there is no leetcode style rounds but there is a 90min coding round where I will be asked to build an API for one of their early products. I asked recruiter about this early product api coding round but she said she cannot reveal any further details. Currently I am going through SpringBoot(since I am comfortable with Java). Any tips/tricks to prep for such api dev coding round in general would be helpful. TC: 170k
Did you get the offer? What tc or yoe?
Didn't get offer
Any idea on the tc?
Applied coding exercise: Have local set up for developing a REST API in any language and framework. They use Python so if you use that it might be in your favor. System design interview: standard SDI interview. They might ask you to design something like their own product. Hint: Think of something like Dropbox.
For Senior they can do TC of ~$250K.
Hey how was your experience? I received take home test. Thanks
I had a phone screen(non take home). Had to do 2 LC style qn(1easy/1medium) in 30 mins on CodeSignal. Onsite had 4 rounds. First one was 2 hours long & had to build a REST layer to do CRUD operations. This was followed by a 45 mins LC style coding round(was asked a backtracking qn). Third interview was behavioral followed by 1.5hr interview with the founder. The founder ended up asking a lot of data modelling & SQL questions, which didnt go well & ended up with a reject
Thanks for sharing. For codesignal round, the questions were directly from LC or different?
