I don't have a CS major. Whatever Math I learnt at school has long been erased from my memory. I just learnt Java and Oracle stored procedures and guess what ... I became programmer :) Fast forward 10 years All my projects are talking about statistics, probability and linear algebra. I try to read sometime and it's full of large Math equations. It's very different from PL-SQL. I have tried coursera and it's very boring and long. I hate it. I don't want to quit my job or spend 30K in some part time course. (Some of my friends did it and most part time time course are of very poor quality and just diploma printers). Is there a leetcode type resource which teaches in small but challenging problem solution approach. I can leetcode for hours but sleep in few minutes of coursera. Or is there some kind of Maths bootcamp? It should be fast and exciting.
Algebra and basic geometry are the only math concepts I’ve needed for interviews.
I'm not talking about interviews at all.
Well, interviews are much harder than the actual job...
Hire a grad student. You have good enough TC to be able to share some with them. And they can share their knowledge with you.
Just search YouTube there are a ton. Watch a few and find which style you prefer.
Brother YouTube is full of scam artists snd ti e waters. Very few of them are good.
I have no problem finding decent content. Harvard has a full status and probably series on YouTube. Comes right up. Eddie Woo is fun for a range of math concepts. And so many more
Khan acadet
Yes - they're called textbooks. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a good free "interactive" math program for higher level math; even Khan Academy is only videos.
