Non technical role (strategy) with two years of experience. What does the salary and total comp look like for the role? Currently have RSUs at my company that haven’t vested yet and I would like to see how much I can negotiate. Location is VA. Thanks!
Lol was so confused when I read this. I was like ....you got the offer, so just look at it to see what the comp looks like hahaha. I get what youre saying now tho
I actually haven’t gotten the numbers yet, just an offer. Numbers to follow so I don’t know what to expect!
plz let us know. as a BA i’m super curious what they offer for strategy
McLean or Richmond? YOE? 105 sounds low for DC area.
McLean. What’s YOE?
Years of experience.
105 is about right for 2 yoe.
Doesnt 2 year usually mean Manager role so like 120-130k?
No way, you're an analyst my dude sit down
Expect ~20-30% cut from I-banking. Probably ~$120-140k all-in.
Is that all in just base + bonus or including relocation and signing bonus? I’m trying to see how much salary I can ask for without being ridiculous.
Don't feel bad, they're not going to renege the offer because you asked for too much. If they do, you don't want to work at a place like that to begin with. The target bonus is basically a constant. First see their numbers. I'd ask for like 140k base, hold your opponent in contempt.
:)
Hehehehe 😉 Enjoy c1
?
Negotiate. Promotions take years at c1
Unless you somehow adapt to the Machiavellian political system and have a patron.
I got an offer last year for NYC and it was like 115k TC
this sounds about right for nyc
Do you know if there’s any room for negotiation?
