Got a call from Mainspring energy. Can’t find much on the internet apart from some details about their linear generators which look quite interesting. Anyone here knows anything about the company? Work culture? Future? #engineer #interview YOE - 5 years TC - 91k
It’s a nice place to work. In general, there is a positive attitude (though sometimes overly optimistic when it comes to deadlines). A lot of people who really believe in the technology and how it can benefit the world. Not a top payer nor many startup perks but W/L balance is good. Unlike some startups, there are already good company structure and processes in place. Company roadmap, timelines, and goals are well defined (but evolving as needed). Kind of a mix of big company culture with startup enthusiasm and innovation.
Thank you, sir.
What is compensation like? I also had a call with them, and got called back (months later) when I had already taken an internal role.
Comp is great. Salary is market competitive, and ISO puts expected value of total comp in a good spot
