So I see Blind really is an Augmented Reality app π
"Augmented" in a sense that it is fabricated to look grander than the actual reality.
The only "reality" it is based off on is whatever work email adresses these anonymous rando's happen to have access to.
Some random guy at Robinhood asserts to be a multi-millionnaire (due to his alleged luck/wisdom/whatever) and wonders why not everyone wouldnt work for startups just like him, when he could just be an entry-level engineer getting upset about the HOOD stock crash and growing ever more resentful about his rejections from FAANG's.
Some random guy at Google asserts to be an L7 eng with NW higher than 10M. In the unlikely event that this happens to be true, I wonder why this highly successful, smart and rich guy is spending Saturday night prompting random people to "Ask Me Anything" about Google as if it gave him a great deal of empowerment and prestige. L7's at Google, or anyone with over 10M NW, have much better sources of empowerment and prestige than answering questions on Blind, you know? He could in fact be some random intern at the marketing department or some contractor cooking delicious lunch for us at the cafeteria, who knows they all have @google emails. He could at best be an L3 engineer still in euphoria from getting that Google offer.
For the sake of self-respect and dignity, why don't we stop worshipping these guys and treat them with the level of skepticism they deserve? Afterall, reasonably high NW individuals (say, even over 2M) got much better things to do than discussing TC's on Blind.
TC: did u even read my post? Lol lets say 3M.

In the end, Blind has good parts and bad parts, itβs upto you how you perceive it.
