There is so much variation in the pay for very similar title within the same company. For a given company (specific location) and a title, what could be the factors that determine the salary:
- does it solely depend on employees ability to perform
- depends on the product
- necessity to retain an employee to work in same team?
- technologies known / experience.
- building a new stack vs inheriting stable product with small additional features and supporting the product.
- etc
