Hi all,
I have been given a verbal offer for a PM2 role in the Redmond, WA location.
I was initially offered Level 60 and the following package -
Base pay - 137k
Sign on bonus - 20k (split equally between Y1 and Y2)
Sign on stocks - 80k
Stock refresher - 24k
After a negotiation, the following was offered and the recruiter made it a point to mention that this is “the final offer”
Level - 61
Base - 140k
Sign on bonus - 37.5k (split equally between Y1 and Y1)
Sign on stocks - 120k
Stock Refresher - 24k
Can you please let me know if this package is good for the level and microsoft new hires at this level?
Thanks!
YOE - 4
Current TC - 100k

It’s an average offer, you can ask for more but they can say no.
Two strategies-risk and say this is what it’ll take to sign. Or bring up a competing offer.
I want to push for more comp in Microsoft because I do not want to move to California lol.
When i told the recruiter about how the base is low and to try for 14-145, she told me “you make your path and you could easily just get promoted soon” essentially implying to back off. I didn’t want to push her until I have the writter offer letter because I have seen from other’s accounts that recruiters ghost on them.
How would you suggest I negotiate?
