Company backed out from filing h1 at last moment

Hi Blind Community,

I am currently on F1 (Second Masters) and working as full time.
I have masters in Electrical engineering and MS ITM, MBA (Graduating July 2020).
My company promised me to apply for my H1 this year and backed out at last moment due to budget issue in the team. I am graduating in July 2020, and I have already exhausted my OPT.

Possible options :
1. Move to H4 + H4 ead (My husband has i140)
- Downside : AFIK, concurrent filling of H4 and H4 ead is not available and will have to take a break form employment till my H4 ead gets approved (5-6 months)
2. Find a job that applies for H1 this year
- Downside : Its too late to apply for new Grad MBA or switch job in Hardware testing domain

I thought I will be able to keep my independent status instead of depending on my husbands status.
Need advise on what path I should choose.
Keep fighting for my independent status or give up.
