As far as their tech goes, last I heard they were still python / pylons and a strange database schema. Probably a fun place to work but not for technical growth.
Being spun off and having multiple CEOs doesn’t preclude you from IPO-ing. Generally that’s a function of revenue & growth (which are both looking good fwiw).
If you include private accounts Instagram is one of the biggest porn sites in the world. Additionally, there is a ton of non-brand-safe content that is publicly allowed, at least as high of a percentage of content as Reddit’s non-brand-safe content (which isn’t as high as you think).
