Looking for insights about the interview for data engineer/ MLE at upstart. The recruiter mentioned it will coding round but not be leetcode type. It will be math/ fintech type coding question… what does that mean?

Anyone interviewed recently for machine learning team?

      I am going to interview for data engineer position in data team. But the recruiter mentioned that the interview will be same for data engineer( in data team ) and MLE (in infra team).

    • I think you are referring to a software engineer - machine learning role. Machine learning has its own engineering team, which includes a "data" team and an "infra" team. I don't know much about their interviews though, sorry.
