Yowza! Uber is becoming a dumpster fire (no offense). I admired the stupendous growth that Uber had under his leadership
Didn’t grow it enough to turn a profit 🤷🏻♂️
I thought 2019 shattered the "growth Uber alles" narrative. Anyone can spend $2 to acquire $1. All Kalanik did was expand the footprint over which Uber hemorrhages money.
Dara is lame
Uber is going to buy cloud kitchens and reinstate Travis as CEO 👍
Lol. Steve Jobs 2.0
Not surprising. Uber has never been profitable and their path to profitability is cloudy at best and nonexistent at worse. A simple look at uber's books or even their stock price since IPO tells you all you need to know about this decision. If I had to work at uber I would request a cash bonus instead of RSUs. Asking for RSUs would be like asking for Reichmarks in 1931
Come on, Uber RSUs are not Reichmarks in 1931. I wouldn’t go that far.
Maybe not right now but Kalanicks decision to exit now is telling considering how much insider information he has about Uber it feels like he is cutting his losses.
They will bankrupt soon they can't keep losing money. All gig economy startups will face the reality: a disaster.
How hard is it to make money taking commissions on billions in revenue
And don’t count losses or negative net profit we are growing! Pure fake shit.
lol
Unscrupulous and mediocre leader who lucked into a gold mine takes his toys and goes home
A lot of toys
They should give him back his CEO job. This Dara guy is so lame and boring. I do not think he can even inspire his kids to eat breakfast. Someone should tell these people "The hand that reaches from the grave to grip your throat is the strong hand you want on the wheel."

Who are these unruly Modi supporters in real life?
Why’s it feel like a massive loss?
Massive loss for investors, when the founder bails out, everyone starts looking to exit
Makes the company look weak when the founder has taken such a drastic decision. Uber grew massively under him. Not so much since Dara took over, as his target was IPO over growth
