Hey guys Sonos recruiter called me today, she found me on Linkedin. She invited me to interview for a Sr.SWE position, it looks interesting to me, so I might consider it. Just wanted to know how the company culture or current state of the company is and how challenging the interview process could be. Just need some insider reviews. Thanks a lot. I’ve been there for 3 years, the culture is the best it’s ever been and the company is growing healthier and faster than ever right now. Pay is solid, especially with the recent surge in stock price and benefits are awesome. It’s also just a really fun product to work on and own. TC: 210k YOE: 6
Thanks for the reply. Like I said earlier, I am considering giving an interview with them.
Pay is shit and so is the management really! Would not recommend at all. You’ll find out once you make it through and get an offer. You are better off with big tech.
If pay is your sole priority, go with big tech. But overall, I like working at Sonos . I love the culture here. TC: 200K YOE: 5
The culture - at the time there is a mass exodus of talented folks leaving Sonos, yea sure go for it, all the best
I love it here and wouls recommend. Culture is great, WLB is good, fun products, and pay is not faang but not too bad Yeo 2.5 Tc 156
I came from there and left after 2 rounds of layoffs that made no sense. Highly reactive company. If you can get into big tech, I’d stay clear
I will have interview with sonos for SDET. It's gonna be 4 hours with team. What should I expect the level of difficulty
How did it go? Did you end up joining?
Stay away from Sonos
F that place
I applied to an internship back in college. I took the initiative to apply to multiple job posts and got banned from ever working there
