Suggestions going forward

I was working for ExxonMobil as a contractor and I got my H1-B approved this year. But unfortunately I got laid off effective Aug 31. I've been actively applying and interviewing with companies both FTE and contracting but no luck. My employer through which my H1-B got approved will be withdrawing my petition on Oct 1 , 2020 if I don't find another assignment or get my H1-B transferred. I applied for Day 1 CPT at Harrisburg University for Late Fall Semester. Looking for referrals at companies that would consider CPT authorization.
