So many immigration changes announced recently and in play (new rumour started again today with change in labor certificate practices). This is making life difficult for really smart people who want to make a difference and innovate for people. It's time to kick out fake resume holders from Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant and Desi consulting folks. People here are literally playing the system by creating fake experience and inflated resumes and getting ahead of everyone in GC queue. I think everyone should take stand against these people and report for abusing the system. #workvisa #h1b #stopvisaabuse
Everyone in tcs, infy, wipro, etc in India wants to come to US. Instead of asking for good work/ good raise etc, they ask their managers for an onsite to USA. BAN those companies altogether in US.
lol chill down. The people and their work experience in companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant and other such companies are legit. Companies like Apple wouldn't run a contract with Infosys for more than 20 years if it doesn't. The fake experience happens in a few other no name consultancies.
You opened a can of worms. Here come the WITCH burners.
So this person is more deserving of getting GC through EB1C fraud and others are left waiting for 150 yrs? Enough of this fraud agencies. I hate them to the core now. They made immigration worse for all Indians.
You know what to do when you get the chance to interview people. “Do the right thing”. You know what I mean.
No I don't know what you meant. Please elaborate.
“new rumour started again today with change in labor certificate” Can you please explain what this is?
Add accenture to the list
Accenture is not an Indian consulting firm. It’s Irish lol
Wonderful , now the infighting has started
Take it easy sir. Merit in general is overrated - I am not a fan of consulting companies even though I work in one. It is naive to think that consultancies are taking advantage of big companies - companies like Google and Apple are addicted to contracting for both manufacturing and services because it gives them great elasticity and leverage and very very profitable- Google has 150k odd contractors that it can anyday reduce or increase - it is the same kind of leverage like issuing visas - lot of control with little downside. It is a ecosystem play. Do you really believe that a company that tracks and probably knows that I am writing this while watching Liverpool win the Premier league cannot filter through a fake resume if it comes through one - in fact, probably some one like you can write a ML algorithm to find everything about a consultant just by knowing a person’s name. So hard to believe that Fortune 500 companies and the world’s greatest economy that does background checks for every candidate let people in - everything whether it is manufacturing in China or tapping into India’s demographic dividend is of great economic value and that is the reason it exists. On another note, there has been probably some abuse by every large corporation - I mean why does Chrome for e.g need my data when I am in anonymous mode and so is the same with consultancies - however statistics are vastly exaggerated- e.g immigration prospects with a consultancy is atleast ten times worse than with a product company. A large percent of people don’t even get filed for a green card. Many times they do the same job as a full time equivalent without the perks - the esops and the high salaries. If you have not got your green card so far, it is not because of consultancies- it is because there is a country cap.
WITCH companies and their employees are not only abusing the visa but giving a justification for that abuse now. You do realize that there are way more skilled workers than WITCH employees that are not getting H-1Bs because of this abuse? GC backlog is a different issue. That comes next.
No wonder Indians have the most superiority complex but only towards other Indians!! Instead of asking for better checks you are asking to undermine whole sector of people. No different from US citizens saying just ban all immigrants!!
+1
💯
USCIS has a hotline for it
Is it effective ? Has anyone ever reported such cases and USCIS has taken action over it ?
You can try :) USCIS knows about all the fraud which happens but they don't want to do anything abt it Immigration reforms should have happened long time bank but why would they do it if it's affecting only one country? They just don't care
