I applied to Microsoft for a new grad position in September and my application was archived after showing 'Routed to recruiter'.
However, my friends are still receiving online assessments via referrals.
I have applied to various positions via referrals and otherwise, but have not heard back yet.
Is the hiring for new grad 2020 closed?
Folks receiving online assessments have applied only via referral, is referral such a crucial thing even for a new grad position.
Can I still expect a response?
Also observed all folks getting the call had c# in their resume, is that a factor?
Can I ask a recruiter over LinkedIn to somehow review my resume?
How do I ideally approach for these software engineer positions? Barely applying gets no attention? Do I ask referrals or reach out to recruiters directly?
