This article claims that employees are starting to risk having big, shared discussions about workplace issues, despite all of Apple’s attempts to maintain its internal secrecy. Is this true?

What I’d give to be a fly on the wall! But then again, that’s pretty much what Blind is…

Would this have happened under Steve Jobs? I only ask because atleast from the outside looking in Tim Cook seems like an ineffective leader

Very good points and I agree, @WharfRat. One can be objectively brilliant and genius but still an emotionally-stunted asshole.

The discussions were happening over the last decade too. But this messaging options like slack have increased the scope of these discussions.

And please don’t “what would Steve jobs do” BS on the topic. For all your idols, he was an a**hole leader to work under.

I mean, no actual change is ever going to happen. The problematic leadership/exec teams are not going to change. So I would say it’s slightly exaggerated. But I think it’s def good that employees are speaking up!
