How long the offer ping-pong goes?

I have a company made me offer of 220 TC, I counter with 260 TC(thanks to blind to give me courage to ask 40+ from what was offered), they came back with 240. And now I asked for more time?

How can I ask them to come to 250 and how long does this can go?

I also have another company offered me 235.
