I see majority of posts in Blind/Work VISA are about H1B, but why not L1? As I understand, after 1 year of working in the company it's possible to apply to L1 and it should be easier to get it... Have anyone considered this path?
Lots of ppl already doing this, which leads to a really high rejection rate this year
Hm... Even for companies like Amazon/Google rejection rate is higher comparable to H1B? I am thinking to relocate from EU and considering options right now...
One guy in our team has been here for almost 4 years on L1, and he just got a rejection; I heard similar stories for H1B transfer is being tough as well, H1B renewal seems fine
It limits your ability to change companies. But lots of people do it and in fact it's being abused to the point you can expect a crackdown soon.
Doesn't just limit, it makes it impossible on L1. Another type of visa is needed and with H1B queue as long as it is, let's just say no transfers on L1. The good thing is OP is hopefully from Europe and will get GC in 2yrs
L1 going under water, no one noticing. Companies happy with that. Check EB1C count, flooded from last 2 years.
alot of questionable terrorist have been using L1 (according to new data).... question is... R U a Terrorist? if so pls call 1-800-HOM3LaND

Best LCOL or MCOL city?
L1 visa rejection rate is very high and will continue to rise. Plus internal transfer TC is very low since you can't change jobs
