Hi Blind Community,
I had a random query about L1B VISA, if someone could shed light on this matter.
Current scenario: H1 attempts exhausted, working on STEM OPT
Current employer might send me to Canada but hasn’t committed anything on L1-B matters. My question is - does working for an employer for more than 2 years in the States, and moving to Canada for the same employer helps in getting L1B in a shorter time period (say 1 year) as compared to working for an employer for 5-6 months (another employer, not joined yet) and then going to Canada and applying for L1-B. Or, in general L1 B can be applied after 1.5 years? Trying to gauge if switching at this point will affect in processing time of L1B visa.
The stay at any employer might have no effect on being considered for L1B, but I am still asking to get some clarity if that is the case.
