Hi All - I am on L visa and am completely fed up with the work I am doing . The team I am in sucks badly and am finding it hard to continue. I have failed 3 H1b lottery and the cycle of waiting 1more year for lottery to get picked and then interviewing outside is insane .

I feel stuck in life in general because of immigration and pretty much everything revolves around it . I want to move to move to Canada but don’t make enough pts .

Does any US tech companies hire for Canada ? How hard is it to land a job like that with no pr .

  • You can look for remote jobs in Microsoft, Amazon, Splunk, Asana etc. These teams have offices in Canada (talking about Vancouver...Toronto may have even more). They will apply for your work permit. You don't need a PR.

    If you have trouble getting through h1 lottery many tech cos have opened offices in Canada. You can take a role there and move to us once you get the bids through the lottery.
