L4 PM compensation at Google
What is the L4 PM post MBA compensation range at Google? Current L6 at Amazon and manager has promised promotion in a year / year and a half but have L4 PM offer from Google - thoughts?

Yea there's no way a recruiter can promise a promotion. You can make it in that time with strong performance but no guarantees.
Isn’t it a downgrade from L6 level at amazon?
Yea I thought it would be a downgrade from L6 too - but they say MBAs get hired to that L4. And they apparently beat L6 comp
I would assume like $160k-$180k base.
What’s L4 at google? Levels.fyi says they have two levels of APM, three levels of PM, then Senior PM, then Group PM.

I wouldn't trust promises of a promotion. A lot can change in a year. Your manager is trying to squeeze more good work out of you.
