Wow Microsoft's HRs and managers are very good liars. I was hired at L62 a few months back with almost 20%less CTC than yours. I had a better offer but I chose Microsoft because of brand-name. They told me that they can't go any higher because it will enter into L63's range. I feel very stupid now. TC: ~50LPA, not giving brekups for anonymity.
I am going to switch very soon if they don't give me a good raise in the next appraisal.
