I remember working my ass of for a promotion. I got it in 9 months. Quickest in my org, but then I was pushed to chased the next one. And then again the next one.
Is this one easy way to push people to work crazy hours?
I have given up on growth and now relax. I meant what the point of killing yourselves making someone else rich. My lifestyle is still the same.
Now, I feel it’s is the biggest scam of tech industry.

If you say it’s too much work to do, you’re not getting that promo either.
Nothing to push back on your manager of how they “feel” what’s the right amount of work for you. And if you get a promo , congrats 10%?
